The Proposed Charter Voter Mailing Information Guide was mailed to all Village of Plain City registered voters on Friday, January 29, 2021. A copy can be picked-up in the Municipal Building or available by clicking the link above. The Proposed Charter will be on the ballot Tuesday, March 9, 2021.  Madison County residents will vote at Jonathan Alder High School and Union County residents will vote at Pleasant Valley Joint Fire Department. Polls open at 6:30 a.m.

Gay Street Reconstruction Project

The Village of Plain City is excited to announce that the Gay Street Reconstruction Project is underway. As of 2/18/20, the street is fully closed south of the bridge. The rest of the street is open to local/resident traffic. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of summer.  Thank you for your patience as we complete this much needed street project. All Village Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Mondays of each month

and are open to the public.

Due to COVID-19, all Village meetings, except Charter Commission, are held via Zoom.
