Village Income Tax Information
The deadline for filing your 2019 Plain City income tax returns has been extended to July 15, 2020. The deadline for any payments due with those returns has also been extended to July 15, 2020. The first and second quarterly estimate payments normally scheduled for April 15 and June 15 for most taxpayers, have both been extended to July 15.
New Village Income Tax Office!
On December 1st, Plain City said goodbye
to the Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA).
The Village has established its own Income Tax Department which will begin receiving tax forms and payments as of December 1, 2019.
The Income Tax Department will provide better taxpayer assistance and efficiency by having a local presence.
New tax forms for residents, businesses and employers are currently being created and will be made available on the Village website within the next few weeks.

In response to the current public health emergency and need to protect the health and safety of the public and Village officials, the Village will hold all public meetings virtually, via teleconference.
The general public may teleconference into any public meeting of the Village by using the proper protocol. Below are instructions and guidelines for teleconferencing:
1. Please MUTE your device so background interference is minimized
2. If you would like to give public comment during the meetings, please e-mail [email protected] and indicate which meeting you would like to give input to and the topic to be discussed
3. Please do not comment, other than during the guest comments/public portion of each meeting. The Chairperson of each meeting will indicate the proper time to do so.

Village of Plain City!
The Village of Plain City is pleased to announce the release of a FREE mobile App that will provide the community with the most accurate and timely information concerning the Village and issues around the Village.

One valuable feature is Push Notifications. Users can enable or disable notifications individually.
The Village will use this feature for alerts and announcements.

Village Council Meetings
Council Meetings and work sessions will be held via teleconference until further notice.
All Village Council meetings are held on the
second and fourth Mondays of each month
and are open to the public.
Council Work Sessions are held the
second Wednesday of each month, but subject to change.
