Water Main Maintenance
Beginning June 1, Public Works will begin exercising water main valves throughout town. Discolored water and trapped air are common occurrences after water system maintenance work. Flushing the COLD water pipes in your home or business usually clears up the discolored water and will allow trapped air to be released. Do not do laundry until your water is running clear.
If the discolored water persists after running your cold water lines for five minutes, please report it to the Village at 614-873-3527.

Phase II of the roundabout construction has begun. The project remains on schedule.
Construction is expected to last from April until Labor Day. Westbound traffic will not be affected. Eastbound traffic will be detoured - cars will be able to use Cemetery Pike and semis will be routed US 42 to US 33. The new roundabout is designed to provide a safer alternative to a traffic light, reduce vehicle speeds approaching the intersection, and assist with pedestrian traffic. The Village will provide more updates, as the project progresses. (updated 06/17/2022)

Village Council Meetings
Plain City Council Meetings are held the second and fourth Mondays of each month (unless designated otherwise on the website calendar). Worksessions are held the first Wednesday of each month.
Meetings are held in Council Chambers at 800 Village Boulevard and begin at 6:30 pm.
All meetings of Village Council are open to the public except for Executive Sessions during which Council members may discuss specific types of business as defined by the Ohio Revised Code. Boards and Commission meetings are also open to the public.
