Water Service Shut Off Notice
Water service will be temporarily shut-off on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from approximately 9am until 3pm to allow a Village contractor to complete a water main connection on S. Chillicothe Street. Please see the map for affected areas.
The actual duration of the shut-off may be for a shorter period of time, but will depend on the conditions encountered.
Once the work has been performed, your water service will be restored. Please note that you will be under a boil alert for a time after the water is reconnected. The Village will notify all water service customers impacted once the boil alert is lifted. Please check out the Village's website and App for updates.

NEW App Release for Village of Plain City!
The Village of Plain City is pleased to announce the release of a FREE mobile App that will provide the community with the most accurate and timely information concerning the Village and issues around the Village.
The app is FREE to download through your app store- simply search for: Village of Plain City.
One valuable feature is Push Notifications. Users can enable or disable notifications individually.
The Village will use this feature for alerts and announcements.
As the Village strives to improve customer service, we believe that this app will assist residents with access to pertinent information and help increase ease of communication.
Building permits will now be issued by the Village of West Jefferson Building Dept.

Village Council Meetings
All Village Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Mondays of each month
and are open to the public.
Due to COVID-19, all Village meetings, except Charter Commission, are held via Zoom.
