The Village of Plain City operates under a Mayor-Council-Administrator form of government. In this system, the Village Administrator serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Village.
Appointed by a majority vote of Village Council members, the Administrator is responsible for managing all departments and overseeing day-to-day operations, providing regular reports and updates to Village Council, supervising employees, and facilitating coordination among elected offices. The Administrator also spearheads critical areas such as strategic planning, financial management, and communication.
