The Village of Plain City’s waste hauler is Local Waste Services. Residents will be required to have their trash at the curb by 7am on Thursday morning for pickup. Local Waste will begin collection promptly at 7am.
If a Holiday falls on a weekday, your trash collection will be delayed until Friday of the holiday week. Pickup will return to the regular Thursday schedule the following week. Residents are asked to use rigid garbage containers or plastic trash bags for disposal of their waste. Cans or bags cannot be more than 32 gallons or 50 pounds in weight. The following village services are provided throughout the year to residents of the village.
Refuse, recycling, and yard waste will be collected by three separate trucks each Thursday. Residents will be required to have all their refuse, recycling and yard waste at the curb by 7am each week. Residents can call Local Waste with any inquiries or concerns regarding service at 614-409-9375.
Weekly curbside collection of recyclables separate from refuse and yard waste collection will be provided. All recyclables may be combined in your recycling bin for collection. Recycling bins can be picked up at the Water Office (Monday-Friday) between 8am and 4pm.
