Pastime Park

Pastime Park is a popular destination throughout the year, and a host to many annual community events.  Nestled among beautiful oak trees (many over 200 years old), Pastime Park provides a very peaceful and tranquil setting, drawing visitors from all over the United States.  The park offers 3 reservable shelters with grills, a professional disc golf course, sand volleyball courts, basketball courts, a walking trail, baseball fields and a rentable community center, known as the Youth Building.

Pastime Campground

Nestled at the North end of the park is Pastime Campground, a popular campground for both locals and travelers alike. The campground has 2 full hookup sites, 16 gravel water/electric sites as well as 38 water/electric grass sites and 4 primitive tent sites and a full shower house. Reservations are recommended.  For more information on the campground, click here.

Plain City Aquatics Center

The Plain City Aquatic Center was opened in 2012 and is a $2.1 million dollar facility that  offers something for everyone in the family!  The pool features zero-depth entry areas, a splash pad, kiddie play area, a diving board and  twisty tube water slide!  The pool is also available for private pool party rentals.  For more information on the Aquatic Center, click here.

McKitrick Park

McKitrick Park is a 5 acre nature area right off of Main Street, aka Rte. 161.  It's a great place to spend time fishing, enjoying a picnic or just relaxing in the beauty of the  natural surroundings.  In recognition of the distinct characteristics of the Big Darby Creek, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources classified 82 miles of the creek as a State Scenic River in 1984.  We are very fortunate to have a part of this nationally recognized treasure within our Village.

Heritage Rail-Trail

Heritage Rail-Trail is part of the Rails–to-Trails Conservancy.  Running from Hilliard, Ohio to Plain City, the Heritage Rail-Trail is a 6.1 mile paved trail perfect for walking, running, biking, or inline skating.  It also parallels a 4 mile horse riding trail.
