Village Council


The six member Plain City Village Council meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month, with a work session on every 3rd Tuesday. Meetings are open to the public at 7:00 p.m. Many interesting and important village issues are discussed and decided during these sessions. We invite you to attend and be an active member of our community.

Doug became a Council member 3.5 years ago because, "I believe this is a great place to live and raise a family and want to be an instrumental part of the development and success of our community."

Todd has been married for 15 years to Stephanie, and they have three sons together.

Shawn, in his first year on Council, wanted to become a Council member because, "I believe that citizens should take part in their community. I hope to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to Council. I am eager to help organize the possibilities for Plain City."

He has been married to Cindy for 13 years and has three children. Kevin, in his first year on Council, wanted to become a Council member to "give back to my community in some way. I feel I have a lot of experience to share and hope I can use that experience to continue to preserve our community while moving us through the future."
