A message from Mayor Sandra Adkins:
Greetings and welcome! The Village of Plain City was founded in 1818 and is a great small town in central Ohio, serving Madison and Union Counties. We are located minutes from Columbus and the growing northwest suburbs.
Plain City has always been proud of its agricultural heritage and is surrounded by excellent farmland. Situated on the banks of the beautiful Big Darby scenic river, our Village prides itself on a friendly, small-town atmosphere, great people and good schools. We invite you to visit the Village and shop our historic uptown, visit our wonderful library, or have dinner at the Der Dutchman Amish Restaurant - a landmark that attracts diners from all over central Ohio.
Thanks for visiting our web site. The information will tell you more about the Village, its government organization, policies and services, as well as a calendar of events and links to area businesses and organizations.
My office is located adjacent to Council chambers, at 213 S. Chillicothe Street. I would be happy to hear from you at any time of you have questions, comments or concerns about our town.
